Audience Feedback

Q.3 What Kind Of Media Institution Might Distribute Your Media Product And Why?
I think that the most appropriate institution to distribute our media product would be a production company who hold a strong reputation within the thriller and horror genre. Therefore we chose Castle Rock Entertainment, who are a reputable media distribution outlet, who have taken credit for the distribution of many successful thrillers such as ‘Misery’.
The advantages of using such a reputable company to distribute our product would be that our film carries the reputation already built up by the film company, meaning we draw a wider audience as expect high quality films to be produced by such a successful production company.
Another advantage is that since Castle Rock Entertainment have been in the film industry since 1987 and have direct connections with huge production companies such as ‘Universal’ and ‘Warner Bros.’, meaning that they are very experienced in the best way to distribute films worldwide.
